They gave themselves up for popularity, and this conformed their sound to be nearly the same as every other supposed "hard-rock" band. 10 Years' new songs sound similar to every other band you'll hear on modern "hard-rock" radio stations. Their old song were, in themselves, experiences. This album is packed fresh with their songs that are.just songs. 10 Years used to have a sound that you couldn't quite hear from any other band out there, and though they were far from popular, they were unique. Their "New-and-Improved" sound comes off as factory-made, likely in no small part due to producer who apparantly has worked with bands like Papa Roach and The Daughtry. Despite their promises to return to the old sound I know and love, sadly, this album is a continuation of what Division began. They just aren't the same from that unique, dark, etheral sound once the album Division was realeased. The most dramatic Formula One title fight in at least a decade further intensified Friday when Christian Horner and Toto Wolff traded barbs at the same time the FIA denied Mercedes right to appeal last weeks non-penalty on championship leader Max Verstappen. The sound they started with, ( The Autumn Effect) is a thing of the past. In December, the band went on a mini-headline tour, where they played a few of their older song that hadn't been heard live in some time.Ĭoming from a die-hard 10 Years fan, this album made me thoroughly disapointed. In the fall they joined Sevendust again on the Hard Drive Live tour with support from Since October and Anew Revolution. To promote the album's release, the band opened Shinedown 's 2010 Carnival of Madness summer tour alongside Chevelle, Puddle of Mudd, and Sevendust. Feeding the Wolves was released on August 31, 2010.

The track was released to radio later that month, and was made available for download on iTunes July 6. On June 12, 2010, "Shoot It Out" was featured on Sirius/XM Radio. Before the album was released, the band debuted new songs at live performances such as "Dead in the Water", "Now is the Time", and the new album's first single "Shoot It Out". Throughout the first half of 2010, the band multitasked by putting on live shows and working in the studio. The band has also mentioned the album is"very similar to some of their early songs." The album was produced by the producer Howard Benson and mixed by Chris Alge. 10 Years announced some time back that their third major ablum would be entitled, " Feeding the Wolves".
